Blue Sky Sports Physiotherapy is a Bristol based practice with four clinic locations, a flagship clinic in Ashton and satellite clinics in Abbots Leigh, Blagdon and Winford. ACE are based in the flagship clinic in Ashton. We have collaborated with Blue Sky Physio for over 15 years, we love being able to work alongside Donna and her team, sharing knowledge to improve patient outcomes.

Below we have answered some frequently asked questions we regularly get at our clinics prior to your appointment.
A podiatrist is a medical professional specializing in diagnosing, treating, and preventing conditions related to the foot, ankle, and lower limb.
We treat a wide range of conditions at our clinic, some of the mor common ones we see are: Bunion’s, Plantar Fasciitis, Heel Pain and Sports Injuries.
No, you don’t need a referral to see a podiatrist. You can book an appointment directly with our clinic administrator’s.
One Monday a month, 10am-5pm.
Yes, there are a number of dedicated patient parking spaces at the back of the building.
Yes, you will need to check that your policy covers you for gait analysis. You will need to provide your insurance details so we can process the invoice for the appointment. In most cases private health insurers wont cover any insoles. These will have to be a self-pay item.

We ask that you complete the online forms emailed to you prior to the appointment, so the podiatrist has that information ready for the appointment.
We ask that you arrive with either loose fitting trousers, running gear or a pair of shorts as the podiatrist will need to see your lower limb.
It would be beneficial for you to bring the relevant footwear, i.e running shoes, football/rugby boots, work shoes etc.
All of our podiatrists have BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatry and have undergone further training. They are also registered with the Health Care Professionals Council and the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.
